The new XTran product line is the first railway-grade communications network based on MPLS-TP technology (Multi Protocol Label Switching-Transport Profile).
XTran is a railway hardened, compact and DIN-RAIL mountable modular node family which can seamlessly interconnect all (including operation critical) railway applications over fiber and copper cabling. It allows for creation of reliable multi-service backbone networks in various topologies.

The used technology standard can replace legacy Circuit Switched networks providing the same or better specifications in terms of protection and predictability, while offering the capability to handle the increasing amount of Packet Switched traffic generated by modern devices for signaling, trackside applications and operational communications.

The XTran network is centrally managed and monitored end-to-end by the TXCare Network Management System which is designed for operational simplicity.
The advanced OAM (Operations, Administration & Maintenance) features provide a clear status view and trending of the devices in the field, reducing the need for on-site interventions, thus reducing operational costs drastically.
