High standards, cooperation and solid resultsAarsleff Rail is a leading Danish railway contracting company. Our expertise is to design, plan, implement and maintain rail and light rail projects. Our customers come to us for a wide range of services, from trackwork, earth work, welding work, signalling and power supply, electrification, to structures and full-automatic inspection systems.
Helping Denmark to cleaner transport
Among our current larger projects is the electrification of the Danish rail network in consortium with Siemens. The work is split into 10 sections, the first section being successfully opened in August 2017. We are also involved in establishing the new CBTC signaling system on the Copenhagen S-Train, building a new high speed rail line to Copenhagen as well as the first light rail project in Copenhagen.
Well equipped for challenges
Our wide range of specialized machines assure we can complete all types of rail projects efficiently and at high production rates. For our electrification project we have acquired two rail going piling rigs and invested in a complete catenary train of 7 vehicles including an advanced wire installation machine. In addition, we have a fleet of motor trolleys and locos, tamping machine, wagons as well as two-way excavators that can be equipped with a wide range of special tools for track and catenary work.
Inspection on full auto
Aarsleff Rail offers a line of full-automatic inspection systems for trains and rail components. The unique systems combine advanced sensor technology with modern digital technology and automatically collect all relevant information about train and track condition. The automatic systems replace time-consuming manual visual inspections and provide a very accurate and reliable surveillance of the state of the equipment. This saves time and money and at the same time data is supplied at a higher level of quality and safety.
Working in Scandinavia
Aarsleff Rail acquired Swedish light rail specialist Anker AB in 2014. Anker AB gives a platform in Sweden as well as important insights in light rail to benefit our activities in the Nordic light rail market.
In 2017 Norwegian Banedrift AS, specializing in track rebuilding and maintenance on railway lines in Norway, became a part of the Aarsleff Rail Group. The group has already strengthened cooperation and business development to the benefit of the Scandinavian rail market
