L.B. Foster Bahntechnik Reveals Enhanced Capability on Stand 220 Hall 25Track component manufacturing specialist L.B. Foster Bahntechnik is demonstrating its augmented rail capability at Innotrans 2016, from trackside to onboard, on its largest ever exhibition stand.
L.B. Foster Bahntechnik’s extended capability follows a series of strategic acquisitions in the rail supply sector by its parent, global infrastructure group L.B. Foster. Alongside L.B. Foster Bahntechnik’s core range of high performance track components, the company will be showcasing its sector leading on board friction management solutions and L.B. Foster Europe’s sophisticated engineering technology applications. These include the innovative LIDAR level crossing safety system and low energy, wireless CCTV units for remote condition monitoring and security applications.
Keith Churm, Managing Director, L.B. Foster Bahntechnik says: “There’s a real momentum building behind our rail business in Europe and Innotrans is the perfect platform from which to showcase the breadth of our extended product and service offer. That momentum is captured in the way we think about our business and our core purpose, which is to keep the railways moving. You’ll see this reflected in our stand design.
“We’re very much looking forward to seeing our core customers who specify our proven portfolio of track components, and we’re looking to welcome delegates interested in technology solutions that improve asset performance and return on investment for network operators.”
‘Stand and Deliver’ product and service demonstrations conducted by L.B. Foster Bahntechnik Solutions Specialists will run throughout the show, highlighting product benefits and features. These include Level Crossing Obstacle Detection (LIDAR OD), Customer Information touchscreen wayfinders and robust Crossrail driver only CCTV structure.
Inside the exhibition stand a dedicated display screen will showcase technology specialist L.B. Foster Netpractice’s wayfinding, large screen passenger information and OIS solutions, plus its unique Arriva Fingerprint platform which will be on show for the first time anywhere in the world.
Also on display will be the world's leading Mosaic Mimic system (TEW SM24) depicting a signalling control layout and a track components display. All items will be accompanied with a tablet which will offer product information and collateral downloads.
A specially designed Exhibition App “Show” by L. B. Foster Netpractise will be used at Innotrans, which will carry all collateral in digital form and will be used to send visitors invitations to future events.
