The identification of objects by using RFID is the key factor to get transparency about the lifecycle of MRO components and enable effective and economical mileage recorded maintenance or exchange of components. RFID based driver assistance systems enable e.g. the verification of the door release or control the correct flange lubrication as well as provide the precise location by distinction of the position on track.
At the worlds first company HARTING obtained the “International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS)” quality certification, the new international quality standard of the railway industry.
The HARTING group employs ca.4,600 employees worldwide. Sales in the 2016/2017 business year: Euro 672 million.
