This device is used to test the functionality of pantographs. The basic functions and contact forces are controlled and measured. In addition, the control air-pressure can be determined for a variety of models – even those without an integrated pressure control unit. Loosening of the coupling and the uncoupling process are tough and dangerous tasks executed by workers called shunters.
